Baby Bird
When me and Libby came down for breakfast this morning there was a tiny little bird sitting right outside the patio door, he was freezing in the blizzard we had this morning so I opened the door to see if he was okay and he didnt even move, so I got a box and brought him inside and put him under a lamp to warm up. He hardly moved for thirty minutes and I kinda thought he might die. But after he warmed up for awhile he perked right up and started trying to get out of the box and even flew around the room once. I got him back in the box and gave him some food and water and figured I'd just let im hang out until the snow stopped and then let him go.

Unfortunatly when I got him out to take these pictures it was like his legs couldn't work, he flapped his wings but couldn't get his legs to hold him up. I put him back in his box and just in the time its taken me to type this up he passed away.....how sad, maybe he had some injury that I couldn't see.....

The Second Instalment in The Days of Our Lives

So this is Saturday night, Libby is doing Mad-Libs, Grandpa is on the computer and Grandma and me are knitting/crocheting.
If you don't know what felting is, its what happens when you wash wool in really hot water, it shrinks up and make a more solid look out of anything you make. Grandma got this great idea to make a bag and then felt it.....she made it wider and taller than she wanted it to allow for the shrinking.......unfortunately it only shrunk one way, so she ended up with a wide bag. (its about 18 inches across)

Here you go Aunt Kim!!

Some have commented on my in-frequent post (thats because we do the same thing day after day after day......) so I decide to post our mornings. This is what me and Libby do almost every morning.

First we have to wake up Libby, sometimes this is hard but today when I took this picture it woke her up.

This is me working (scary, I know) Check out that hair!! I could start a new trend!

Libby, up and ready to go to school with her husky webkinz (they play with them at recess) waving bye-bye to me before her and Grandpa go to the bus stop.
This is what I stare at all day...well this and a couple computer screens. It gets really sunny later in the day (this is about 8am).
This fun staring continues for about eight hours.....after that the fun begins......I'll try to post that later ;o)
