Libby's 10th Birthday Slumber Party
Libby decided to have a sleep over for her birthday this year. She had seven friends over and they had tons of fun! Pizza, cookies and icecream, movies, games and friendship braclets
Oh, yeah, we also painted toe nails....its a little hard to see, but they are kinda halloween-ish.
Breakfast the next morning, waffles and bacon, YUM-YUM!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIBBY!

FISHING!!!Libby finally had the opportunity to use the fishing pole her Uncle Joe got her for Christmas. Uncle Andy took her up American Fork Canyon and they fished in the stream. They were gone about twenty minutes and Libby can back with this beauty!

When they returned the second time, they had both reeled one in.

We found two cute, fuzzy caterpillars. Huds loved them and really wanted to pick them up!

Day Six - Universal Studios
Universal wasn't our favorite, alot of the stuff is geared towards bigger kids/adults. But we did the things we were interested in and had a fun layed back day. This is Lib's enormous hot dog she had for lunch

Curious George! My favorite, so I got the worker to take a picture so I could be in it too!

Day Five - DISNEYLAND!!!
Waiting in some line, Finding Nemo I think, we waited a lot but there were lots of interesting people to watch while we waited

It's a Small World......Libby's use to be favorite, now it's Pirates of the Caribbean

The classic Sword in the Stone Photos :o)

Day Four - San Diego Zoo
This is a baby flamingo--so cute and fuzzy!

Lots of really cool animals, and a beautiful day in San Diego

Yes, I am making a gorrilla face :o)

Day Three: SeaWorld
Libby was so happy when we found this huge dill pickle.

Day One and Two of our Vacation

We left on Friday after work and drove to Las Vegas. There wasn't much to document that first day, we pretty much drove and slept. On Saturday we headed to San Diego, this is at a rest stop in California, we were excited to see a palm tree.We went to the beach after we had checked into our hotel. It wasn't very warm, but Libby wasn't going to let that stop her. She played and I sat on the towel and watched. When we got back to our hotel, Libby discovered that she had "missed" a little sand during her shower at the beach. This is a picture of the sand that had accrued in the bottom of her swimsuit.

Little bit of this, Little bit of that
Just thought I'd post a few pics of our summer so far
Huds says "I've got my eye on you!"
Grandpa, exhausted.

The Fam, Joe hadn't arrived yet, so he's missing.

Our nightly chore.....but it's really not that bad.

And the "fruits" of our labors are delicious!

Happy Summer Everyone!

The very next day at work I got the best surprise ever! These beautiful flowers and an awesome card were delivered to my work......I have the best kid ever!

And then on Saturday we all got to go to Libby's Gymnastics festival.....she did so good! This is her dismounting after her beam routine

She got a really neat metal for participating. The video is her floor routine...it's a bit difficult to see (no zoom) but you can still see that she is a great gymnast.

Super Hero Day at School
Libby decided to be a "Peace" Hero (seems that the peace sign is all the rage--again)
